These highly stretchable, lightweight nylon shpantz have just enough spandex to make them the most sought after shpantz in 2008. These have a slightly more "fitted" fit and function than our JMak knickers, which has made them popular with people who work on their bikes every day. Combine these with a Swobo OS11 liner and a double layered wear zone (that would be the butt), and you've got a highly technical, all day, lightweight riding shpant. We've also added an articulated knee for all day riding comfort and bendiliciousness. Hit the "Look Closer" button above to see all the details in these.

 Diving Deeper
Designed to hit around upper calf to mid calf. Pant leg length keeps pants out of chain. Deep pockets keep your stuff in place and in check. Worn by Billy and the rest of the Godspeed Courier crew in San Francisco. These are also abused by Cyclehawk Courier in New York City. Send Squid or any of the guys in NYC an email, and ask him how his are doing, and if he's not around, drop Billy over in San Francisco a note. Those guys will give you a 200 days in the saddle evaluation on how these hold up. These are 2 of the top, professional messengers in the country, and 2 of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. The New York Times Style Guide also had some nice things to say about Swobo and how we kind of set a ball in motion with Messenger Knickers. We didn't want to bring it up...but if you insist....we'll see you on the runways of Paris this Spring. This is also a great item to add a set of OS11 Liners to , and a set of Dolly Knee Warmers to the ensemble. The whole package is world class comfort in style.

My Fenster wool knickers rock all kinds of arse. I love the feel and performance of merino wool and the quality is seen throughout the knicker. My only gripe is that I'd prefer a slightly thinner chamois, but these work waaaaay better than anything else I've tried. Plus, I can wear them in a wide range of temps. Keep up the good work!

these knickers are an ass kicker! I just got me a pair and dig the s**t out of em. I only wish you guys made them as trousers and in different colors... I'd buy me a pile.

I purchased the nice baggie combo. I liked them and I also would chance one thing about them. The cut on the elastic is straight across and not dropped in the front. They tend to ride up on my stomach and that's not comfortable. If I had a beer belly to keep them down, that would make them better but would also make me not want to ride very much since those are uncomfortable as well. Thanks for the great products.

These things are perfect for my commute to work. They take me from the coffee shop to work and then to the bar in style and in comfort. They are the best I have worn in the last 5years.

Super nice shpants. Stretchy, comfy and durable too. The liners are sweet and work REALLY well. Hard to say how these could be better!

These knickers rock - they get me to work and even to the occasional meeting; plus they work great on the trails too!

Fenster Knickers - Still making them for this fall season? These are so comfortable that I can't wait untill winter to start using them again. They look great and work great on any bike I'm riding, road-fix-mountain.

I love the Rosco knicker. It looks "different", which is something I like, but it is designed and constructed well, too. It's the perfect pants to wear while riding my recumbents, and when I don't feel like bringing "regular" pants on a bike tour, these are much better than wearing bike shorts around.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am not now and have never been a bike messenger. My sole source of cred is three years of bike commuting in Minnesota. These are, without a doubt, the most comfortable pants-like objects I've ever owned. This is significant, since I lack the stereotypical malnourished biker boy physique: I'm 6'1", clock in around 200 lbs. and I have redwoods for thighs. The Roscos are roomy, bendy, flexy, comfy and a bunch of other -y superlatives I haven't gotten around to making up yet. Get some.

These come in precise sizes, they have a very nice detail in that there is a panel for comfort in the crotch of these pants instead of a normal four corner seam like other non bike pants, and some other bike pants do. And no offense but the picture does not do them justice, they are of a very nice quality textile. Super comfortable knickers, and the best part they fit women too. You may say that all swobo knickers fit women too, but I would disagree when you get to the j-mak, the the brunos fit just like these. Really great knickers.

After picking up some stinging nettle and thinking I had become crippled, I decided to go knickers. I thought they would look stupid, but they are actually pretty cool - literally. You get good coverage but also good ventilation, and you don't look like a goof.

These are the most versatile shants that I have ever worn...They are comfortable to bike in and my wife thinks my butt looks nice in them too (which is a huge concern). All around coolest short-pants I have come across.
