 Diving Deeper
Leg length goes to about mid calf. The weight of the wool Brunos make them a perfect Fall / Winter pant. The inside of these is bonded with a poly fleece so they're extra soft next to skin. Which is good. But make no mistake, these heavyweight wool, german engineered, 3/4 length pants are tough as nails, and will withstand most Winter use. These are also a great Fall / early Spring item, but I doubt we'll have any left by early Spring. If you want a killer tri-fecta of Swobo, add a pair of Swobo OS11 liners , and then add a set of Dolly Knee Warmers . With that setup, you'll be impenetrable and ready for just about anything. The gripper elastic that is at the end of the OS11 liners will do a good job of holding the Dolly Knee Warmers in place. It'll be good.

ridden these in 75 degree humid weather down in melbourne. barely noticed them on despite being made of wool. SO comfortable. the fabric is bomber and the cut works. next time, they should make the back pockets a tad snugger so your lock doesn't jump out.

Had these a couple weeks now, worn them every-stinkless-day, long rides down in the low 30's, one ride in particular: pouring [I'm talking Monsoon/Vietnam/Killing Fields/SE Asia kinda rain + 32 degrees] rain... Took 45 minutes of that to even feel damp on my knees and thighs. Stayed warm the entire time. Back home, fired up the SpiceChannel and 20 minutes later, the Bruno's were as dry as Donald Trump's shampoo bottle. Good Stuff, buy 'em. Rawk. -Me [LFoaB]

if they made these in shorts, and in pants length i would have no need for a dresser. they are the bomb. my only serious gripe is that i would like some that were a bit shorter, cause i have short legs...can they be hemmed without ruining them?

The changing of the leaves, the crisp air, the holidays, and wearing these knickers: I love the end of the year. These are my favorite things to wear, ever. I actually squealed when I brought them out for another run this fall.

...you forgot to mention that these knickers have a "Y" crotch - like rock climbing pants do, to eliminate ballsey blowouts. these shpants are worth your last dollars! fit is perfect and true to size. now i have to buy an extra "U" lock for my pants... um...

These pants are tough. Just today a sudden stop sent me over my bars Superman style, I almost landed on my feet, dropped down to both knees, and skid. During my "did that just happen?" moment I took a glance at my knickers and saw no rips or stains. And that's in addition to the supreme comfort and style. You can't go wrong with these

Great product. They are worth the price. The construction is extremely high quality. I generally wear them over bike bibs. This combo works great for me. I have put them through one winter of commuting here is Colorado and they show little sign of wear. My only gripe is I wish they came smaller than 32. They are a little big in the waist one me. Regardless, top notch product. Highly reccomended.

a verry warm knicker. Ive put them to the test and they are rock solid. for any one riding in the cold there a must!

These knickers are very well made out of robust materials. The wool is thick, windproof and pretty water-resistant, while the liner prevents any itchiness. The color combo of dark gray contrasted with the red stitching looks awesome. At $135, they should be a steal, relative to other companies' options (which can run as high as $200). Not so fast, though. My issues with the Brunos are all about fit. (FYI, I'm 5'8", usually wear size 32 pants and, being a cyclist, I have a hard time finding pants that simultaneously fit my legs and waist). The first problem is that the Brunos are a few inches too long; long enough, in fact, that they occasionally rub on my front chainring. Isn't keeping your trousers out of the drivetrain the purpose of knickers? The second problem is that the leg opening is wide enough to catch on water bottle cages, and there is no way (velcro or button) with which to tighten it. I think that both of these problems are solvable by hemming the pants. The last problem, however, is not: the waist just doesn't sit right on me. No matter what I do, the pants dig into my front and fall down in the back. Belts help prevent plumber-butt a little, but using them makes the front really uncomfortable. Unlike some other knickers, which are made out of stretchy synthetic materials, the Brunos don't stretch, and perhaps this is part of the problem. Anyhow, I've gotten so tired of hitching these knickers up at every opportunity that I've pretty much stopped wearing them. My two cents is that these are really well-made pants, and if they fit you, you're probably getting a bargain. But if you're like me (shorter and a little thicker through the legs and butt), you'll probably find that these just don't sit well, which is a total bummer.

these pants kick butt! they're warm in the cold and wet and take a heavier beating than almost all my other shpants.

Holy damn these are good. It's like wearing jammies, except well, when I roll into work, I'm not doing it in jammies. kinda.

Best pants I own. The quality of these is fantastic. I might buy another pair in case they stop selling this item for some reason.

Best article of clothing i have bouth in a long time. wool keeps you warm when its cold, bare ankles keep you cool when its hot. I have worn these on and off the bike in 100 degree heat, and 30 degree cold. buy em. you wont regret it.

Warm In the cold and rain. Fit like they were made custom. Beautiful stitching. Great pockets, zippers and plad. The Brunos are the absolute shit of all knickers ever! Suck it up, swallow the price and buy one. Best peice of bike specific clothing I own. And chicks will screw you if you wear them.

Bruno knickers are made from a wonderful grade of heavy weight wool and are exquisitely crafted. They are by far the best garment I own for tooling around town, running errands, commuting to work, and anything else that requires both bicycling and being around civilized folk. The weight of the pants are perfect year round for my area of California, where a hot day is 72 degrees. The pants seem to never need any care, even cleaning, and so far don't smell at all. I wear a bike liner with them or even a pair of bike shorts under the knickers, though, so most of my body ooze stays away from the knicks. I love them.

sale on these makes them a supreme impulse buy. exquisite styling and super solid, you will be the envy of your bikee pals. and warm, to boot. wear them with a cap tilted at a rakish angle.

Love them! and my friends are highly covetous as well. particularly nice with cooler fall weather upon us. practical and stylish and swobo quality is top-notch. I'll have these for a long time.

$135 for knickers? Worth every penny. It is entirely possible I would have spent the $198 on them if I would have known how fantastic they fit before-hand. They look small and squaty in the picture, but I'm 6'1" 205 lbs and they fit like a tailor-made garment. Highest recommendation!
