Hey, great looking bike. Question: I had this old schwinn in college with a 3 speed internal rear hub and coaster brake. You'd shift up/down by doing a quick kick-back on the pedal. Do you know if anyone still makes these hubs, and if I could build up a Folsom with one? This set-up would be the bees knees and I'd buy one for sure.

I don't own the Folsom but I am pretty close to selling some bikes to make room for one. My friend just picked one up and it's seriously one of the smoothest rides I've ridden in a while for city thrashing. It's light, quick and nimble despite being overbuilt like an urban tank. And honestly, throwing down skids in the street outside your neighbors house is the best thing to do after work.
Unfortunately I don't think I need a 6th bike for my fleet right now. However, the Folsom is high on my list of awesome rides. You won't regret buying one. Show all those fools on carbon hoopties what a real head turner is all about. The Swobo might not come with a flock of ladies, but it will sure get their heads turning in summertime as you skid to a stop at the park and pound a bottle of Mountain Dew.

This bike totally brings back the feelings of being a kid again. I have already marked up the street and sidewalk in front of my house from doing awesome skids. Coaster brakes rule!!! It even motivated me to build a jump ramp. Too much fun.

Lightweight but burly. A blast to ride. Single speed is totally manageable even for an old dude like me. Love the coaster brake. Flat black like my old Nikki Sixx bass. Bottle opener? Hell yeah! Makes me feel "sort of pretty".

Me likey the bikey...
Bought the Folsom last fall. It has survived two crashes into curbs (both operator error) and having the rear wheel run over by my van - only required wheel truing.
No its not going to get you anywhere speedy but I have taken it into downtown Columbus many times (28mi in/back at 12mph) by SIDEWALKS and it worked great. Also it helped me lose 50lb since early April.

i got my folsom to be a backup/drunk bike. as it turns out i ride it more than my track bike. jumping curbs and riding down stairs make being a courier that much more fun. thanks swobo.

Looked like a straight up pimp when I dropped a full skid the length of the city bus I was stopping next to in Downtown Columbus. This is the best thing since mullets were invented.

I barely pull up for the curb anymore. Sometimes I just cruise into a huge super-j-skid and hold it. Always lookin' for trash to jump. Highly recommended for flatlanders and city dwellers. Did I mention the frame is Airwolf tough?

Had to drive to Flagstaff from Phoenix to get it but I am glad I did. I was planning on buying the Folsom for neighborhood shenanigans but I was surprised by the fun I had on the trails that we found on the way back to town. Don't get me wrong, a single speed is no bike to take on major elevation changes but if you can find a fairly flat stretch of dirt you and your Folsom will have a good time. We had some fun in Sedona and Camp Verde.
Get one,
Mike W.

Probably one of the only people to have a Swobo Folsom in Denmark, I am dreaming of summer where i can go on a bikeride going nowhere, just to enjoy my newfound love. Me and my Følsom (danish for sensitive/delicate) are allready turning heads now, but come summer, i'll be waiting to see the responses too my exclusive bike, and turqoise (hope thats how you spell it) pedals!!
Thank you SWOBO!

I sat on this bike and it was love at first sight. I was looking for a throw around and it ticked all of the right boxes. This is my second single speed and this is how riding is meant to be.

I got a new folsom for xmas and I am in heaven. For the last 8 years I've been riding a kids bmx bike (with an extended seat post)daily for my short commute to the office and hauling boards down to the surf and back. I love my old bmx because it is nimble, curb hopping, skids great on the coaster break, simple and low maintenance. But this folsom has all those features of it plus it eats up the road! I daydream about flying on this thing and volunteer to pick up the food for all lunchs. I miss the weird looks I get on the bmx bike though. Really excellent job on this Folsom!

I love this bike, It has handled everything the streets of San Francisco has tossed its way. You might want to stock up on tires, she demands to be skidded, or skud, whatever. This bike makes me feel like a punk kid up to no good. and that is good.

My Folsom has seen nothing but pavement since I got it. Today though, I wanted to hit some trails & sold the mtn bike a bit ago. Tore thru the park & got more attention then Mccaulley Caulkin @ Neverland Ranch. Guys sitting on 3 or 4k of bike asking me tons of questions. Single speeders looking on jealously. If you live near a trail, I highly recommend doing this at least once. You will blow minds....

Funniest bike to ride around, jump everywhere and use some tires. With the dead leaf everywhere this this of the year it's so much fun with the coaster break. The only thing with this bike is that all your freinds want to try it!!!

This bike is the best all around bike I have ever owned. As a young kid, I rode around on bmx bikes so I was used to the great handling. Eventually, I got a mountain bike but never could get used to the way it felt. Years later I am looking for a bmx cruiser with "24 inch wheeles and happen upon a Swobo Folsom... The rest is history. In the short amount of time I have owned this bike, I have been all over my city and a couple of neighboring cities. (Pretty good for a guy who never gets out.) This bike is smooth, quick, light and nimble. Sweet ride! I've got to get some of those yellow tires!

I've had this bike about 2 months and within the first week was all over neighboring cities as well as my own. I rode beach cruisers and bmx bikes my whole life and this is the best of both worlds. The coaster brake is sweet! This is probably the lightest bike I have ever owned.

Just got the Folsom as my alternate transportation. It's a righteous cycle! It's light and nimble, which totally amazed me cause it has a beefy look to it. The bike is a blast to ride. I did 20 miles on it and it was smooth and quick. Sweet ride!

Lack of hand controls leaves me free to gesture "I'm number one, cars number none"! On top of that, I can lay out wild snakes all over the haunt! Mean ride, kills it bar hoppin' and screeches rubber louder than YOUR MOMS bike on prom night.

You couldn't ask for much more from the Folsom. With its clean, non-flashy looks, quick handling, solid construction, it's the ideal town bike. I've been hopping curbs on this baby for a few weeks and cannot find any flaws. If you're looking for a bike to reunite you with your childhood days and an affordable quick way to work or school, this is the bike for you. The Folsom is great.

We saw the Folsom in the window and just had to give it a try. One ride and you will experience Nirvana too! We bought 2 of them and absolutely love this bike. Forget the car, we ride the Folsom's everywhere and now prefer them over the road bikes. Every resort should have 10 of these for folks to ride. If you want to experience your youth again, go get this bike!

The Folsom is the best bike I have ever owned. It has replaced all my other bicycles. 1 speed, coaster brake = zero maintenance, and bad ass skids. What more could you ask for...

Love the Folsom. Love it. Fun to ride. No cables, rides like a cruiser, can handle any urban obstacle. Lay rubber, spin bars, repeat.

i ride around on my single speed roadie and the hipster kids say "cool fixie" even though it's not. i laugh at them. i ride around on my british 3-speed and the tweed professors say "are you sure that's an original brooks B-17?" i mock their ways. i ride around on my Folsom and the tattooed broseph with the pitbull and the chinstrap beard says "yo, bro that's a hella tight ride!" fame, success, winning. these too can all be yours.

Saw it in the window and had to have it. Perfect for bombing the hills here in Baltimore town. The flat grey is perfect too, no worries about it getting dinged when I lock it up. Plus the coaster break lets me relive my childhood memories of beach cruzer skid marks on the sidewalk. Could not be happier with my Folsom!

I got the Folsom a few months ago and its seriously so much fun to ride. Not only is it fun but The Grey Matte finish looks real good too. The best part is the COASTER BRAKE! I've gotten compliments from so many people about this bike. Everyone seems to be stoked on it and so am I.

I own the Swobo Folsom, and its a freaking amazing ride, and the super cool matte finish is such a sweet look, and then to top it off with a coaster brake... How do you beat that? Cruzing around campus on this beast is overall awesome. I threw some pegs on the back wheel enabling me to ride around with girls one the back of my bike and as my uncle would say... Super Sweet

The folsom is a rad throw-back to the old days of coaster brake skids, home built ramps and wheelies ending in bloody knees. Buy one, strap on a PBR and make fun of spandex jockeys.

Everyone that sees me ride this bike around, to work, to the store etc... compliments me on my fine taste in bicycles and their eyes follow me longingly as I ride away from them and slowly fade into the distance. I love my bike.
